You can’t learn music if you don’t love music.

No Sheet Music. No Stress. Just Your Music on Your Terms.

We don’t follow the classical route with scales and formal sheet music – but not because we think that path is wrong. It’s just a different kind of musician. Classical training is perfect for choirs, orchestras, and those who want to read and interpret music. What I offer is more performance-based – ideal for singers, songwriters, and anyone who wants to play in bands or entertain an audience.

Both styles are valuable. I just teach the one that feels more like a jam session than a recital. What I do is meet you exactly where you are – and build something real from there. Whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned singer who’s tired of the rules, this is a place where music feels like you.

I teach using a non-traditional approach focused on:

🎧 Ear training & pitch awareness

🧠 Chording & creative thinking

🥁 Rhythm, groove & dynamics

🎭 Confidence, charisma & entertainment

❤️ A deep love and excitement for music

What are lessons like?

Lessons with me are casual, creative, and totally tailored to you. We don’t use sheet music (we use the Nashville Number System), we don’t stress about perfection, and I’ll never hand you a guilt trip about practice.

I care more about consistency than pressure—because when music feels fun, you naturally want to keep playing.

I don’t have a standard teaching syllabus. I get a feel for where you’re at and how you learn… and then we dive in YOUR way.

We laugh a lot. We experiment. We celebrate progress, even if it’s messy. Whether we’re working on vocal dynamics, ear training, chording, or just finding your sound, my goal is simple:
Keep you in love with music for the long haul.
