UPDATE! I've hit the big screen (for about 60 seconds anyway)! I'm so excited to be singing one of my original songs (written with Randall George) in the new movie, "War Eagle, Arkansas". After 3 years of filming, production, and editing, it debuted in theaters in Arkansas on June 12, 2009, and was released on DVD in April 2010. It was a great honor to be able to have our song in the movie, and we hope you get a chance to grab a copy of it!

Welcome to LeslieWright.com! I've changed the site around quite a bit, so if you're looking for something you can't find, just give me a shout! To keep things a bit more organized I've started a new blog that will give you a heads up on what's going on with all of my sites.

So, by now you're probably figured out that the picture to the right is me when I was younger, and "Mini Me" now. I've created a masterpiece! :-) I'm a very proud mom of two amazing girls - one that I gave birth to, and one that I sometimes forget I didn't (ha ha). I'm also hoping to adopt a baby anytime now! I was licensed and approved in November 2009, and we're all anxiously waiting to bring home "God's next big plan". Some people might call me crazy, but I love my girls and I can't wait to have another little one here! I know it would probably be easier to just have a biological child, but adoption feels so right, and I can't wait! It's been quite an adventure already, and I have a feeling this is only the beginning! Many times adoption happens by word of mouth, and we would GREATLY appreciate if you would tell everyone you know that we're hoping to adopt! Please let your church members know, your friends, relatives...anyone you can think of! We're hoping to have an open adoption where our child will know who his/her birthparents are. We're not choosing the gender - we're letting God bring our baby to us! I'm blessed to have a wonderful family, amazing friends, a house that seems to grow with us, a job that I thoroughly love, and my own business that keeps me thinking creatively. I love being busy, whether I'm working or playing and I probably do both too much!

You can still catch me at the Ozark Mountain Hoe-Down in Eureka Springs, Arkansas every night except Tuesday from March through December. I've been there since May of 2002, and every year it just gets more fun! I'm truly blessed to work with such a great family of musicians and entertainers, and I can't imagine being anywhere else. I have the opportunity to do so much there - from singing to comedy to songwriting - and I absolutely love being there each night. Come see me!
